This is a wonderful, heart-warming story. Kim Jackson took me on a mission trip to the hills of Kentucky, choosing a delightful route straight through a woman's aching heart and into the bright sunlight of Donna Dubois' personal answer. I loved reading about Donna's journey, and must admit I was crying by the end of the book--happy tears, of course. What an intriguing demonstration that God truly moves in mysterious ways to fulfill His purposes. This is a wonderful story of faith where God wove the lives of a talented and troubled Christian couple with a struggling Christian widow with four children in the hills of Kentucky into an incredible Christmas Answer. The book is an easy read and held my attention from beginning to end, all in one reading. I hope there will be a sequel to this incredible story.
Any book that centers around Christmas catches my eye.
I enjoyed this book and the characters that were portrayed.

This is a good Christmas based story. It shows the way God works in our lives and we can't know how it's going to go. Very good short read.

This is one of the best novels I have read in a while--at least on the section of Christian fiction! It is definitely Christian in all ways and is really interesting and well written. Great morals and everything good!! Would enjoy reading more from this excellent author.
I never tire of stories that show God's amazing power to bring good out of bad circumstances. Gospel singers, Donna and Mark, appear on stage as the ideal Christian couple, but below the surface? That's a different story. On a mission trip, Donna finds the answers she seeks while giving a dying woman the ones she needs. Good book, easy to enjoy when a reader needs a quick escape from her own reality.
Donna & Mark are Christian Singers that have become discounted with each other. They both wanted children, but was unable to have. After a long tour had ended they take separate vacations apart to figure things out. They both love each other but forgot to put God First and pray. Donna goes on a month missionary trip with her friend. Only later to realize she was placed in a host house as an answered prayer of the host. Through circumstances and much prayer in knowing God,s will for them, they discover that God has answered three prayers in one move.
