I owned these stories first as paperback books and loved them so was so happy to see them come out in the kindle version. The men of the Rocking M are true alpha heroes. When they finally admit to loving their women you can find no men more committed to their women and children.It seems like the men of these stories have to face almost losing their women to finally realize that without them they are less. Their women make each of the men better men. I read the physical books over and over and plan to do the same with the e-versions. I have heard that we are finally getting Utah's story. Can hardly wait.

The guys on the Rocking M are rough and tough, but with a good woman to help them along, they allow their softer, loving side to emerge. These stories take you to a place I would love to live. The country is unforgiving but beautiful, in my mind's eye. All the characters' stories intertwine well and support the other. Excellent reads.
I have gotten rid of all of my books and I am now only buying e-books. So it is really nice to find old books.
I read these books when they first came out and this was a good group to re-read while enjoying some down time from work (office and housework). I can't think of a book by her that I have not enjoyed.
I enjoy this author and buying the set was a good deal. However, the editing is awful! While I would recommend each book, you may not want to read them back to back as the stories are so similar they seem repetitive.
I haven't finished reading this book yet but I can tell you I'm caught up with the complexity of the characters. Luke, the dark, handsome, tough cowboy, with a history and Carla, who has loved Luke forever. Luke chased Carla away when she turned 18 and now must face his past along with with a young woman determined to win his love.
This set still reals as well thirty years later. I let go of my print copies when I downsized so it was fun to revisit Mackensie's & the Rocking M. I still missed meeting Utah. I had such high hopes. I am okay since other series taught me how a favorite side character can be ruined in their own story.
This is a collection from her past. These were short romantic stories and while they were predictable, that is why I read them. I sat in the sun without a care in the world and enjoyed visiting an old friend. They are a little dated, but that is to be expected.
